This is my bowl #4. It's 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. I made his bowl but it was too small for my liking so I remade another bowl. This one was never posted up. I used

My first theme project is this short and stubby vase that is 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It may not look so intriguing but I wanted this to be my theme project for my plants. I have lots of plants at home and I wanted this to have a simple look. The glaze I used was Sydney Blue. I wanted the blue to contrast with the greenery of one of my plants.
This is my bowl #4. I am still waiting for it to be put in the kiln because it was on the shelf during the fire. I am waiting to see the outcome of it! Excited!!!
This is lidded project from last quarter that I was late on. It's 6 inches tall and about 5inches wide. I was inspired by Winnie the Pooh to make this pot. A design element are the patterns on the top of the lid and i wanted This be to be a simple feeling! This project turned out just the way I wanted!
This is my mouse oragami.
Step 1: Make sure the paper is a square. Step 2: Fold it diagonally. Step 3:fold the inner corners. Step 4: fold it into bird shape form. Step 5: fold the ends. Step 6: fold the tail. Step 7: done! This is my bowl #3 and it turned out bigger than bowl #1 and #2, but I really still need to try and create a different shape and size to it. I feel like all my bowls are the same structure which it's something that needs to change a little. But I've made progress throughout the semester. Instead of using water color and designing the whole bowl like I did with bowl #2, I desided to use a different design element to it. Contrast! I wrote, "love" within the center of the bowl and put clear glaze on the inside. On the outside I decided to get back on the normal colored glazes. I dipped one side dark blue and the other green. I made sure the colors crossed one another to have a multiple color outcome, and it did. The way the blue mixed with the green turned out really nice.
Here is my group Franken Pot. There was four of us: Will, David, Carlos (I believe), and I. As the only intermediate member, I made the base and had to help the others with their parts. It was nice to teach them how to make a base because they really needed help and wanted to learn. For me, last semester during the same time of making a franken group project, I learned how to make my base and to not let the clay control me. I hope that this project benefit them as much as it had benefit me. Also, our project wasn't as tall as the others, but it came out a good size. I'm still very proud of it. One of the members (I think Carlos), glazed it black with white drips that turned out blue. It portrays a dark emotion like Frankenstein.
Here is my tall vase project. It is about 7 inches tall and 3 inches wide. What really disappointed me is that the glaze didn't take turn out how I wanted it to be. The white glaze was too watery and it wasn't thick how it thought the color would turn out. I wanted the lines i have drawn to turn out without a dripping effect. The purpose of this design was to make it look like a ocean plant. Aquatic theme plant. But now it just looks decent. I wasn't really happy can't the way glaze turned out, but I'm glad I have a tall vase to hold my flowers fl
This is my 4 in. tall and 6 in. wide planter. I made my planter small because I want to use it for my tiny plants that I have at home. I actually like it because it went according to how I imagined it to be and how I wanted it. I remembered to poke holes on the sides. I used white glazed on my planter. The problem is, it did not turn out white like how I had wanted it to be. I think it was because the glaze was really watery. Overall, I think my planter was a success and it will be in use!
This is an extra credit Small Vase I made. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall and 4inches wide on the opening. It was meant to be a tall vase but it wasn't tall enough. I hadn't made the base too wide from the beginning. to wide
